This morning (22 September), the Thanh Tri District Labour Federation organised visits and gave many meaningful Mid-Autumn Festival gifts to three facilities in the district: the school for children with disabilities, the Association of People with Disabilities and the Association of Blind People.

At the places visited, leaders of the District Labour Federation warmly asked after people’s health, encouraged people with disabilities to overcome difficulties, integrate well into the community and stabilise their lives, and handed gifts directly to the children with disabilities.

Ms Nguyen Quynh Lan – Vice Chair of the Thanh Tri District Labour Federation said: “The total number of gifts given on this Mid-Autumn Festival occasion is 26, funded from the Trade Union Social Fund of the Thanh Tri District Labour Federation”. It is known that, together with the International Children’s Day on 1 June, this is one of the meaningful trade union activities, held every year, showing care and sharing for children, especially children with disabilities and disadvantaged children:
