In June 2014, a team of volunteer doctors from the United States will come to Saigon with a programme to make prosthetic limbs for poor people who cannot afford to have them made themselves.
Patients must submit their applications before 30 May. Applications include:
– 1 full-length photograph of yourself, clearly showing which arm or leg is missing.
– 1 curriculum vitae
– 1 photocopy of your identity card and household registration book.
There is no limit on numbers.
Anyone who wants one can register.
***Note: the programme is completely free of charge.
We MAY be able to help with travel costs and arrange accommodation for some people who cannot afford to come to Ho Chi Minh City to have prosthetic limbs fitted.
– We only accept applications from patients who do not have diabetes.
