Soft skills are essential for giving people with disabilities confidence and success in life, study, work and social interaction, but they are also a basic weakness of people with disabilities. Lecturer Do Manh Ha from the University of Commerce shared his knowledge to pass on useful skills to the trainees. With a modern, learner-centred teaching method, every lesson was taught through real-life stories and personal experiences, from which the trainees drew lessons for life without needing to take notes, which made them very enthusiastic. After the course, all the trainees said the training had changed their thinking a great deal.

On this occasion, the class welcomed a delegation from the Green Cross organisation, which shared information on rehabilitation for people with disabilities. The training course was also attended by Mr. Nguyen Van Cuong, Director of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Rehabilitation Hospital. He said the training course had provided useful knowledge and experience. He also hoped that in the near future he would support activities helping people with disabilities with rehabilitation as part of the project’s activities.
