The Association for the Protection of People with Disabilities and Orphans of Vinh City organised a gift-giving event, presenting wheelchairs to people with disabilities in 16 wards and communes across the city.
On the morning of 2 November, the Association for the Protection of People with Disabilities and Orphans of Vinh City directly presented 32 wheelchairs to people with mobility disabilities in 16 wards and communes in Vinh City, to help them ease their difficulties in moving around, as well as in other daily activities.
The wheelchair donation programme was sponsored by the FWM Humanitarian Wheelchair Mission, the GIBTK organisation and the humanitarian support organisation for Vietnamese children. On this occasion, the Vinh City People’s Committee also presented 32 gifts to people with disabilities to encourage them to overcome difficulties and rise up in life with sharing and encouragement from the community and society.
