Recently, the Lawrence S. Ting Community Support Fund donated 50 wheelchairs and 50 hand-powered tricycles with love, worth a total of 207 million VND, to the Association for the Protection of People with Disabilities and Orphans of Ha Tinh province.
The programme “Donating wheelchairs and hand-powered tricycles with love”, funded by the Lawrence S. Ting Fund, aims to support people with disabilities and people with injuries in provinces and cities so that they have means of transport, making daily life and work more convenient and improving their everyday lives.
In recent times, Phu My Hung Development Co., Ltd., through the Lawrence S. Ting Fund, has donated two computer rooms and a microscope worth more than 638 million VND, and sponsored the construction of a lecture hall worth 842 million VND for Tran Phu High School – Ha Tinh.
In addition, from 2008 to the present, Phu My Hung Company and the Lawrence S. Ting Fund have donated 220 million VND through the Ha Tinh Provincial Association for the Promotion of Learning, for the association to consider and award to pupils in remote areas and poor pupils who overcome difficulties, to help them have better conditions to go to school.
