On 10 October 2013, the Fund for Children with Disabilities, together with the Businesspeople’s Cultural Centre – Southern Branch, Vietnam, and business clubs in Ho Chi Minh City, organised the programme “Businesspeople’s day of walking together in love” to celebrate Vietnamese Businesspeople’s Day on 13 October.
This is the first large-scale programme organised to honour businesspeople who are people with disabilities, to encourage and motivate their extraordinary determination to rise above fate and live useful, loving lives. Although they are people with disabilities, these role models have worked tirelessly, overcoming many difficulties to be creative and excel in production and work, helping hundreds of other people with disabilities.
Besides honouring businesspeople with disabilities, the businesspeople’s day of walking together in love also brought together nearly 300 exemplary businesspeople in charity work and social work nominated by business organisations, to thank and honour them
