With their own knowledge, skills and experience, and with scientific, appropriate teaching methods that encourage learners' positivity, initiative and creativity, the lecturers – Ms Nguyen Hong Oanh, Director of IDEA, and Ms Nguyen Thi Phi Nga, Senior Expert at the Asian Entrepreneurs Academy and head of the Women's Club of the Capital, under the Hanoi Women's Union – provided learners with the knowledge and skills needed to build, maintain and develop relationships in the family, among friends and at work effectively, through communication and behaviour. In particular, the lecturers helped the women understand their own value, remove their sense of inferiority, change their perceptions and raise their self-confidence in any situation in their personal lives and work.

Most learners rated the programme as meaningful and useful, and suitable for them. The knowledge and practice were built logically, helping learners grasp the basics of cultural skills and communication and behaviour, while giving them the chance to gain real experience through practical exercises. The programme's activities throughout the course were also very rich, fresh and interesting. Each activity had its own meaning and required learners to use many different skills, such as listening, observation and teamwork. Moreover, the high entertainment value of each game helped learners reduce stress and feel more excited and confident.

At the same time, IDEA, in coordination with the Thanh Hoa Association of People with Disabilities, the Thai Nguyen Association of People with Disabilities and the Women's Club of the Capital, under the Hanoi Women's Union, launched the writing contest on women with disabilities on the theme “My little story”. This contest is part of the project “Strengthening the participation and voice of women with disabilities through communication”, aiming to encourage the confidence of women with disabilities and to highlight their ability to work, study, integrate equally and participate fully in the community.

The contest aims to mark the 84th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Women's Union (20/10/1930 – 20/10/2014), and to create a forum to help women with disabilities learn, exchange views and integrate and rise up in life. The launch ceremony attracted more than 100 people with disabilities, of whom more than 70% were women with disabilities, along with media and television agencies covering the event and volunteers from the Thanh Hoa and Thai Nguyen Associations of People with Disabilities.
