On 26 October 2015, IDEA representatives attended the programme “Meeting the Mongolian National Education Alliance delegation” at the Government Guest House, 10 Chu Van An, Hanoi.
The conference discussed education for deaf people in Mongolia and the role of relevant associations and the government, as well as policy advocacy activities to expand the teaching of sign language at the continuing education centres of the Vietnam Association for Education for All (VAEFA), and reviewed activities related to education for deaf people in Vietnam.
Here, delegates from the Mongolian National Education Alliance and VAEFA, together with guests, asked questions, discussed and exchanged experiences of working with deaf people in particular and people with disabilities in general, very enthusiastically.
