In Vietnam, love for people with disabilities often faces many barriers, both subjective and objective. However, that does not stop young people with disabilities from wanting to love and to be happy in love. With support from the community, many young people have confidently and proactively sought happiness through the series of social and friendship events of the online social network Likeyou.vn.

The Connecting Heartbeats event is held once a month in Hanoi. It is a playground that helps young people integrate, meet and make many new friends. The programme creates conditions for hearts to come closer together in the search for a life partner, through new and attractive content.
Mr Vu Duy Linh – Director of Jamcorp Company (the unit that develops and exclusively owns the LikeYou network) said, “Creating a healthy, reputable and serious playground for young people with disabilities to meet and make friends is a project launched in May 2014. In working together and striving with the state government to support and promote people with disabilities in Vietnam to reintegrate into the community and confidently rise up in life, we understand that a business develops sustainably when it makes certain contributions and dedications to society through this programme”.
Likeyou is an online social network for single people over 18 who can make friends, chat, share online, and then meet and get to know each other in real life to find a suitable “other half”. At present, nearly 60,000 members have joined this social network.
